Hispanicize Media Group yesterday announced the launch of Hispanicize Texas, a one-day, digital creators and entrepreneurs event slated for late July, that will be held in Houston.

Hispanicize Texas is being created to empower and engage digital creators in the Lone Star State, one of the largest markets in the nation for multicultural digital influencers. In addition to the dedicated creators’ track, Hispanicize Texas will also feature a full slate of sessions devoted to entrepreneurship and cultural themes that touch marketing, journalism, and leadership.

“We launched the Hispanicize Event in Dallas in 2010, and it has always been my dream to return to my home state to help empower Texas Latinos with the resources to help them to succeed as entrepreneurs and leaders,” said Angela Sustaita-Ruiz, co-founder and CMO of Hispanicize Media Group. “What will make our event unique is that content will be curated by Texans for Texans, whose cultural nuances are more complex than other markets.”

Hispanicize Texas will feature a powerhouse line-up of national and regional speakers who will empower and engage digital creators, creative entrepreneurs and community leaders. The Lone Star edition of Hispanicize will be co-led and curated by Juan Alanis and Anjelica Cazares of Juan of Words in partnership with DiMe Media, Texas Latino Bloggers, FAB Latinos, Círculo de Mujeres DFW, and a statewide advisory board.

Brands and other organizations who wish to collaborate with digital creators will have a large platform to work with as the Hispanicize Texas venue will be transformed into a creative playground featuring a jam-packed agenda of in-depth workshops on photography, shooting and editing videos, branding, social media, and much more.

“We’re excited to help bring the imagination and impact of Hispanicize to Houston, and can’t wait to showcase the incredible talent and creativity that the Lone Star State’s influencer community has to offer,” said Juan Alanis and Anjelica Cazares, Content Creators at Juan of Words and co-owners of the Houston-based public relations firm Big Oak Tree Media. “The burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit of Houston and Texas-based digital influencers is extraordinary and presents a tremendous opportunity for businesses and brands.”
